| Are Expensive Eyeglasses Better? |
YES or NO
|
The most commonly used lenses are usually one of the following 3 types: single-focused (for short sightedness or long sightedness), double-focused(for both short and long sightedness, with clear division of two types in the center of lenses), and gradual promotion (both for short and long sightedness, without the clear division). The cost of lenses will increase as the lenses become more complex and with options such as coloring and UV reduction. The same can be said for the difference in brands and thinness of the lenses. The degree of short or long sightedness is also the important factor. When considering all of conditions above, expensive lenses do not neccessarily provide better and clear visibility. The most important element in the whole problem is how the matched lenses are selected for the degree of short or long sightedness of each customer. We, therefore, advise you not to believe everything the optician says and examine for yourself if the suggested lenses match the degree you require.
